Canara Bank launches two new schemes

Bangalore, Aug 21 (UNI) Canara Bank today announced the launch of two new schemes -- SB Gold (Savings Bank) and Can-Premium (Current Account) for High Networth individuals.

The Bank, in a release here said the two schemes comes with a host of value-added services, which included free debit and credit cards, anytime banking facility, free fund transfer, telebanking, issue of Demand Drafts at concessional rates, waiver of folio charges and name printed in cheque books.

To avail these facilities the customers need to hold an average monthly balance of Rs 1,00,000 in their operative accounts. They also enjoy the facility of sweep in sweep out, where by the balances held beyond Rs 1,00,000 earn interest at rates applicable to term deposits. The schemes aim at retaining and adding to the Bank's share of High Networth clientele, the release added.
