British PM admires Shilpa Shetty

Mumbai, Aug 21: Shilpa Shetty's popularity seems to be increasing with each passing day. Joining the dusky beauty's long list of admirers is Britain's new Prime Minister, James Gordon Brown. The new PM, who recently took over from Tony Blair has always had a special interest in India and has addressed India as pulsating and dynamic.

Shilpa's Spokesman Dale Bhagwagar was asked about the newly appointed British prime minister, in regard to the political stalwart's earlier comments and support to Shilpa.

United Nations, Mar 13: Six major powers negotiating UN sanctions against Iran for its nuclear ambitions said they were closer to a deal but needed more time to produce a Security Council resolution.''The target is to get this done by the end of the week,'' including a vote, said Alejandro Wolff, a US ambassador after emerging from talks with ambassadors from Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany.''Depending on the instructions we get back overnight from capitals whether.....

Sees progress on new Iran sanctions: US official

Washington, Mar 2: Major powers made progress on agreeing on new sanctions on Iran and hope to have their UN ambassadors begin drafting a formal UN Security Council resolution next week, a senior US official said.The official told Reuters that political directors representing the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany ''were able to resolve most of the issues'' in a two-hour conference call yesterday and hoped to complete their deliberations in another conference call tomorrow.Reuters.....
