Rae Bareli, Aug 18 (UNI) The Property of slain hardened dacoit Dadua's sibling Bal Kumar Patel was today attached on order of the District Administration.
SP Mohit Agarwal said the notorious patel owned property over Rs 2 crore, which had also been confirmed by the Income Tax Department.
As many as 18 criminal cases are pending against the history-sheeter. He had also been booked under the Gangster Act.
Presently in jail, Patel had contested the last Uttar Pradesh Assembly Poll from Patti seat in the district.
The attachment lasted till late in the evening at the residence of Patel in Kotwali area of the city.
