Man poisons wife on suspicions of infidelity

Mumbai, Aug 14 (UNI) A man forcefully administered poison to his wife on suspicions of infidelity at Borivali yesterday, police said today.

The victim, Yogita (26) works in a private firm. Her husband Dilip Barut (30), who is HIV positive had been harassing her mentally and physically for the past three years, police said.

Last evening when Yogita came back from office, Dilip physically assaulted her and thereafter forcefully made her take a white-coloured poisonous substance.

Yogita has been admitted to the Bhagwati Hospital, police added.

Kozhikode, Aug 24: Four members of a family allegedly committed suicide at Ramanattukara in the district.Police said bodies of Anilal(42), Sindhu(35) and their twin daughters Anjali and Anusree were found at their Olippilpara residence early in the morning.While Anilal was found hanging, preliminary investigation revealed that the others died due to consumption of poison.The bodies had been sent for post-mortem, police added.UNI.....
