Relatives ransack hospital over infant's death

Mumbai, Aug 12 (UNI) Irate relatives today ransacked a private nursing home at Ghatkopar in north-east Mumbai to protest the death of a nine-month old baby, who was undergoing treatment there.

The relatives ransacked Vivek Nursing Home to vent their ire against the death of the baby, alleging negligence on part of the doctors.

Ghatkopar police have registered a case of rioting against the attackers, sources added.

US to ease work permit norms for nurses

Washington, Mar 2: Giving a moral boost to Indian nurses aspiring to work abroad, a resolution has been introduced in the US House of Representatives for the creation of a special non-immigrant visa category for registered nurses.
