'Lok Adalat' held in Gandhinagar

Ahmedabad, Aug 12 (UNI) The fourth 'Lok Adalat' of Gandhinagar district was held today to redress grievences of government employees.

Supreme Court Judge C K Thakker inaugurated the 'Lok Adalat', which was presided over by Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Yadram Meena.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was the chief guest at the function.

The function was also marked by the launch of a legal magazine called 'Nyaypath' by Justice Thakker, who appreciated the trend of 'Lok Adalat' adopted by the Gujarat government.

Others present on the occasion were Supreme Court Judge Anil Dave, H N Devani and state Law Minister Ashok Bhatt.
