AIADMK to observe fast on Aug 13 TN Dist

Chennai, Aug 12 (UNI) The AIADMK will observe a day's fast at Karur tomorrow to condemn the Enam Karur Municipality's failure in not providing basic amenities to the people and the 'minority DMK' attitude in not paying attention to such problems In a statement here today, the AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa said despite representations from her party councillors and local people, no action was taken to provide the amenities.

She claimed the municipality was ''not able'' to fulfill the basic needs of the people like water, roads and street lights.
