Xerox rolls out high-tech printers from 'DocuColor'

Chennai, Aug 03: Xerox India, a leader in the digital print production category, has launched three latest high-tech printers from 'DocuColor' portfolio here.

Talking to newspersons today, company director productions Vipin Tuteja said the newly launched products in the 'DocuColor' series -- DC 242, DC 252, DC 260 and 'Xerox Nuvera 288' -- stable make production color printing more affordable, and professional with outstanding image quality.

"These 'DocuColor' products are targeted to all the new entrants of the digital print market", he said, adding the 'Xerox Nuvera 288' is the 'fastest cutsheet black and white press in the world' aimed to redefine the perfection in production printing.

On the company's south India plans, he said "South India is an extremely important market for the 'Xerox Production System Group' (PSG) and currently contributes to over 40 per cent of the PSG revenues.

Mr Tuteja pointed out that over the next six months, the company will rol out a focused market engagement activity to increase awareness of its digital production equipments through multiple road shows in South India.

"We will also work with a team of digital printing experts in Chennai and Bangalore to educate the graphic art community and commercial printers on the benefits of digital printing and innovative Xerox applications and solutions", he said.
