Jamshedpur, Aug 3 (UNI) Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Democratic), led by Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, is all set to join the Jharkhand Front on August 7 at the Front's convention, slated to be held here.

In a statement here today, Front convenor and Jharkhand People's Party (JPP) general secretary Surya Singh Besra said Mr Marandi, who would be the chief guest on the occasion, would join as a constituent of the Front.

Apart from JPP, the Horo and Naren factions of the Jharkhand party are also the other constituents of the Front.

Mr Besra said Mr Marandi would hold talks with the Front members in Ranchi on August 5 to finalise his decision. The meeting would also discuss the strategy for coming Jamshedpur Lok Sabha bypoll and strengthening the Front in the state.

He said the meeting between Mr Marandi and the JP (Horo) president N E Horo in Ranchi on July 31 was significant as both the leaders felt the necessity of forming a ''Third Front'' in the state as both the NDA and the UPA had allegedly failed to deliver goods in the past seven years and the people had lost faith in both of them.
