Shajapur(MP), Aug 3: Five people were injured, three of them seriously, in a clash between two groups on a trivial issue of a girl student taking home the 'rotis' distributed under the mid-day meal scheme in a primary school.
The incident took place at Ghanora village near Nalkheda in Shajapur district yesterday.
A group of seven people, led by the school's Parent-Teacher Association President Bhagwan Singh Khati, attacked the relatives of class three student Rekha.
The girl's three relatives, who were seriously injured, had been admitted to the hospital at Ujjain, while two injured among the attackers were being treated at a hospital at Aagar, police said.
Police registered cases against both groups.
