All our concerns not met in deal: BJP

New Delhi, Aug 3: The BJP said it would give its formal reaction to the Indo-US nuclear agreement only after studying the documents which were made public today.

BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar in the party's preliminary reaction however said that "it looks that all our concerns in regard to national interests have not been taken care of in the 123 agreement." The party would study the whole document in detail and give its formal reaction, most probably tomorrow, he said.

The senior leaders of the party are scheduled to meet at former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's residence this evening where they will discuss the Indo-US agreement and formalise the party's stand, he said.

BJP has no clear stance on N-deal: Cong

Khargone, MP, Aug 24: Congress General Secretary and MP Arun Kumar has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party did not display a clear stance vis-a-vis the Indo-US '123' Nuclear Agreement. ''That is why the saffron party is not describing the deal as wrong but nevertheless creating hurdles as it does not desire implementation,'' he told mediapersons at this district headquarters yesterday. Mr Kumar assured that party President Sonia Gandhi was informed of his views regarding selection of a candidate for the Khargone.....
