Mysore, Jul 29 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and Union Minister of State for Planning M V Rajashekaran today clarified that there was no political significant attached to his meeting former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) National President H D Deve Gowda in Bangalore yesterday.
Speaking to newsmen here, he said that it was usual meeting and used to meet him (Mr Gowda) when he comes to New Delhi. "We usually discuss issues relating to development of the State and the country and share views on various issues." "The issue relating to transfer of power by JD-S to BJP never discussed", he added.
Stating that in politics nothing could be predicated, he said that Congress intention in Karnataka and the Country was to prevent communal forces to come to power as would hamper development of the country.
