HDK says he sticks to promise made on power transfer

Mysore, July 26: Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumraswamy today said that one must wait for time to hand over the power in the coalition government till October 3.

Reacting to newsmen at a helipad here today, he said there are many statements from Janata Dal Ministers and other leaders on the power sharing issues and it was their own expression and he would not worry about this.

He said he would not pay attention to rumours by political leaders on the power sharing issues but would stick to his promise made during the formation of the government with BJP.

Mr Kumarswamy refused to make any further comments on the issue.

Referring to his recent New Delhi visit Mr Kumraswamy said that the state government has sought Rs 1500 crore for the flood relief funds following the monsoon furry in the state.

A central team expected to visit to the state shortly on a study the situation, he said.

Mr Kumraswamy along with Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and Leader of the Opposition of both the Houses Mr Dharam Singh and H K Patil arrived here to participate in the centenary celebrations of the cooperatives movement in the state.
