Guntur, Jul 21: Vijayawada Guntur Tenali Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority(VGTMUDA) would launch a Rs 300 crore Singapore model township project near the temple town of Nangalagiri in this district.
Talking to newspersons here yesterday, UDA Chairman M Vishnu said the 53-acre township would comprise 3378 three bed-room and two bed- room flats, divided into 46 blocks. It would have three multiplex theatres, shopping complex, swimming pool, club house, an International School, among others.
Mr Vishnu said the prices of flats would be within the reach of a common man. A survey revealed that the area has potentiality for infrastructure facilities, he added.
It may be recalled that half of the 4500 plots in the Amaravathi Township, sponsored by the UDA near the proposed Singapore model Township had been unsold and the venture was treated as a failure.
