Two killed and five injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, July 19:Two people were killed and five others were injured in road accidents in the Kashmir valley today, a police spokesman said.

He said a speedy vehicle hit and critically injured a scooterist Shamus-ud-Din Malik at Parimpora Chowk on Srinagar-Baramulla road.

He was shifted to hospital where he died.

A security force vehicle hit and wounded one Ghulam Mohammad Mir near Iqbal Park here. The injured was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Four people were injured when a matador and tipper collided at Bagandhar, Pampore. The injured were hospitalised.

One person was injured when a vehicle hit him at Wangipora at Sumbal.

India, Pak Auditors General discuss cooperation

New Delhi, Mar 13: India and Pakistan today agreed to strengthen cooperation between the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) of the two countries in areas of public audit and accounts. Pakistan's Auditor General Mohammed Yunis Khan, currently on a five-day visit o India, met Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) Vijayendra Kaul and discussed with him ways to strengthen cooperation between the SAIs of the two countries. Mr Khan who arrived here yesterday, also met senior officials.....
