Production of finished carbon steel goes up by 12.6 pc

New Delhi, July 19 (UNI) The production of finished carbon steel has reached 12.088 million tonnes (MT) during the first quarter of this year recording an increase of 12.6 per cent.

During the corresponding period of last year, the total production of finished steel in the country was 10.734 MT. Export of finished carbon steel has also shown an increase of 7.8 per cent.
