Chandigarh, July 19 (UNI) The Haryana Transport Department has earmarked a sum of Rs ten crore for the renovation of bus stands during the current financial year.
Transport Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala said this amount would be spent on the maintenance and renovation of the bus stands and workshops in the state.
He said the State Government was committed to provide better transport facilities to the passengers like pure drinking water at Bus Stands, neat and clean toilets, sitting arrangements for passengers and parking areas for buses.
Besides, proper lighting arrangements in workshops during nights would be made, he added.
