Blueline kills 53-year-old Haryana govt employee

New Delhi, July 19 (UNI) Delhi's savage Bluelines claimed yet another life today when a 53-year-old Haryana government employee was killed by a speeding bus in Peeragarhi area of West Delhi while he was trying to board it.

Darshan Jain was waiting for a bus at Peeragarhi Chowk at about 0810 hrs when a speeding Blueline, plying on route no 254 (Baburpur to Nangloi), hit him while taking a turn at the flyover, according to the police.

Even as the driver fled the scene, Jain was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Jain, who worked with the Haryana government, was on his way to his office in Bahadurgarh when the accident took place.

However, the driver of the bus Bir Singh was later arrested, police added.

New Delhi: Blueline kills teenager; family protests

New Delhi, July 8: City's 'killer Bluelines' claimed yet another life this morning with a teenager getting crushed in Vikaspuri area of West Delhi. Karan Sharma (14) came under the rear wheel of a Blueline while getting down in Vikaspuri at about 0830 hrs, according to the sources. The boy, a resident of Uttam Nagar who was on his way to play cricket in a nearby park, died on the spot. Eyewitnesses said.....
