House of Pearl forays into real estate business

New Delhi, July 13: House of Pearl Fashions Ltd today said subsidiary of the Company, Pearl Global Ltd will be diversifying into real estate business.

The Board of the company's subsidiary has approved the signing of collaboration agreement with Ansal Properties and Infrastructure Ltd, for development of commercial Land measuring 9.26 acres on NH-8, Gurgaon (Haryana), he stated.

House of Pearls Fashion Ltd is a multinational ready to wear apparel business company, operating in 11 locations across six continents. It provides global supply chain solutions for the fashion industry.

Palm tops for TTEs for feed on vacant berths

New Delhi, Feb 26: Palm tops will be given to Railway Travelling Ticket Examiners(TTEs) so that they can feed to the Passenger Reservation System (PRS), the information about berths/seats falling vacant at the eleventh hour.Under the existing system, reservation charts are brought out a few hours before the departure of trains. Often due to unforeseen circumstances, several passengers with reservations do not travel, resulting in many berths remaining vacant.Since this information is not fed into the PRS.....
