Nigerian kidnappers free British girl -state gov't

ABUJA, July 8 (Reuters) Nigerian kidnappers today released a three-year-old British girl they had seized in the city of Port Harcourt on Thursday, a spokesman for Rivers state government said.

Spokesman Emma Okah said Margaret Hill was with the state security services in Port Harcourt and was in good health.

London, Dec 7 (ANI): Words linked to Christianity, the monarchy and British history have been taken out from a leading dictionary for kids.Oxford University Press has dropped words like "aisle", "bishop", "chapel", "empire" and "monarch" from its Junior Dictionary.They have been replaced with words like "blog", "broadband" and "celebrity". India to have largest armoured vehicle mfg unit

New Delhi, Mar 11: The world's largest armoured vehicle manufacturing unit is to be set up in India by this mid-year under a 51:49 joint venture between the British armoured vehicle maker Armet and the country's Indian technical textile producer Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn.The facility -- to come up at Malwan, near Kanpur -- is expected to be operational by July later this year with an initial roll-out capacity of 300 luxury armoured vehicles for VIPs per annum.The unit would be later.....
