Four unidentified men rob bank collection agent of Rs 9 lakh

Mumbai, July 9 (UNI) Four unidentified armed robbers allegedly looted a collection agent of a bank at Sion in Central Mumbai and fled with a bag containing Rs nine lakh cash and 25 cheques of different banks.

In his First Information Report (FIR), the agent, Yogesh Shankar Ganaja said he was on his way home last night after the daily collection. At around 2300 hrs, a gang of four unidentified persons approached him near the Shivneri building and threatened him at knife point. Of them, two gang members assaulted him, while the others snatched the bag which contained Rs nine lakh cash and 25 cheques of different banks, police said here today.

Police has registered a case of robbery.

Ahmedabad, Aug 13: Corruption has infected the Indian Armed Forces too, admits Chief of the Air staff Air Chief Marshal S P Tyagi.He was speaking at the golden jubilee celebrations of the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) late last night.However, he was quick to clarify that only certain army officials are corrupt, and they very few in number.
