Mumbai, Jul 9 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Electoral Officer U P S Madan today said the final publication of the electoral rolls will be done on October 11.
Mr Madan told reporters that the Election Commission of India had declared summary revision of electoral rolls with reference to January 1 this year as the qualifying date.
He said the draft rolls will be published on July 10, while claims and objections will be received from July 10 to July 24, and the electoral rolls will be finally published on October 11.
He also appealed eligible voters to get themselves enrolled.
