Call money starts at 2.5 per cent

Mumbai, July 9 (UNI) Call money recovered slightly from its lower margin met last week when the trade kicked off on Monday.

It opened at 2.5 per cent as against the Friday closing of 0.25 per cent. The trade was dull, with the market witnessing hardly any smart movements in the early day session, dealers said Call rates touched an intra day low of 1.00 per cent and is currently (1230 hours) trading at nearly 1.25 per cent, dealers added.

Brussels, Dec 5: Tibetan spiritual leader, The Dalai Lama, has said that if China wants to be seen as a super power in the 21st century, it has to first acquire and improve its moral authority.Addressing the European Parliament here, the Dalai Lama said on China: "One important factor is moral authority and that is lacking.
