Cabinet expansion after Presidential polls: Hooda

Yamunanagar, July 9 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today reiterated that the expansion of Haryana Cabinet would be made after the Presidential polls on July 19.

Mr Hooda stated this while talking to reporters at Hathni Kund Barrage, 35 km from here, today.

To a question, The Chief Minister said the repair work, carpeting and strengthening of the roads was going on with full speed all over the state.

He said the budget for the repair and strengthening of roads had been increased manifold so that better look could be given to the roads in the state.

On the Presidential polls, Mr Hooda said all MLAs of the Congress and its allies parties would vote in favour of Ms Prithbha Patil.

No consular access to indians in Pak jail: Pranab

New Delhi, Mar 14:  The government today informed the Lok Sabha that at least 92 Indian civilian prisoners in Pakistani jails have yet not been given consular access."Besides 390 fishermen and 149 civilian prisoners and 74 PoWs are still languishing in Pakistani jails," External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said in a written reply.The minister was asked whether the government had any reports of inhuman treatment meted out to Indian prisoners in Paksitan.The minsiter said Indian prisoners released by Pakistan had reported.....
