Seven-day state mourning for Chandra Shekhar

Bangalore, July 8 (UNI) A seven-day mourning will be observed in Karnataka following the death of former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar in a hospital in New Delhi today.

The state also announced a holiday for government offices, banks, schools and colleges tomorrow.

A Special Cabinet meeting would be held tomorrow to condole death of Chandra Shekhar.
