Hyderabad: CPI condoles Razvi's death

Hyderabad, June 17: The CPI condoled the death of Syed Mohammed Jahwad Razvi, noted fighter of the Telangana armed struggle against the tyrannic rule of the erstwhile Nizam.

In a statement here CPI state secretary K Narayana said Razvi, who died today, was one of the first generation leaders to rise against the rule of the Nizam.

He said the life of Razvi, an ideal communist, should inspire the present generation.

Rs 250 cr proj to help CAs brush up on soft skills

Kochi, May 23: Faced with increasing competition from MBAs, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is embarking on a Rs 250 crore initiative to impart soft skills and management training to its members. Addressing a press conference here, ICAI president Sunil Talati said the project envisaged establishment of 17 'centres of excellence' over the next eight years in different parts of the country to impart training in ''soft skills'' to its members......
