TACCI to open chapter in Nepal

Mumbai, Jun 14 (UNI) Trans Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI) will open its chapter in Nepal in September this year, according to its Convenor Sanjay Bhide.

Talking to UNI, Mr Bhide said ''Mr Arjun Thapa is going to be the honorary secretary for Nepal Chapter.'' Mr Arjun Thapa, a senior representative of Nepali Congress (Deuba faction), an important party in seven party coalition ruling in Nepal, looks after the foreign cell of its party.

Gangtok, Mar 11: The Sikkim government is contemplating to lease out the ailing state-owned Sikkim Time Corporation Ltd(SITCO) to a private entrepreneur to revive the company.The state Minister for Commerce and Industries R B Subba told sources that a Cabinet Sub-Committee has been constituted and asked to submit a report on the company after assessing all aspects. New Delhi, Mar 8: Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda today suggested the Industry to supplement the political efforts to secure justice for Karnataka in the Cauvery river water dispute. NE Investment Week to be held in Bangkok

Guwahati, Aug 18: Assam Industries and Commerce Minister Pradyut Bordoloi today announced a North-East Investment Week in Bangkok from October one to four.
