Chandigarh, Jun 14 (UNI) Under its ongoing plan to strengthen the distribution system, the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has decided to augment existing capacity of 20 existing 33KV substations at an estimated cost of Rs 10 crore during the current financial year.

Chandigarh, Jun 14 (UNI) The Haryana government has so far disbursed Rs 2841.61 crore to the farmers for the purchase of their 33.43 lakh MTs of wheat during the current rabi season so far.

Stating this, Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan today said 37.06 lakh MTs of wheat had arrived in the 360 mandis of the state so far and out of this 33.43 lakh MTs had been purchased by the six government procuring agencies.....

Shimla, June 13 (UNI) The country's largest hydroelectric project, 1,500 MW Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVNL), plans to increase the storage capacity of the reservoir to optimize its power generation capacity, a company official said.

Increasing its storage capacity by 10 metres would help in increasing power generation in the hydel power project and combat silt content during the monsoon season.
