'Dancing beauties' treat for Zoo visitors

Visakhapatnam, June 8 (UNI) The Indira Gandhi Zoological Park here has two more 'dancing beauties' now, with the arrival of two peacocks of the endangered Indian Blue Peacock species.

They were not caught from the wild but 'rescued' from a house at Parvatipuram in this district.

According to Park officials here, the number of peacocks had now gone upto 12.

The presence of 'new guests' resulted in increase of visitors, officials added.

Visanagar, Jan 26: Two non-resident Indians and a Gujarati Philanthropist have decided to have an experiment with ''Gandhigiri'' in Africa to dispel the notion among locals there that Indians, particularly Gujaratis, are exploiting them.
