Call money openes at 00.30-00.50 per cent

Mumbai, June 8 (UNI) Call money opened at 00.30-00.50 per cent today from previous close of 00.30-00.40 per cent on Thursday.

Indian bond yields rose on Friday after a sharp sell-off in US treasuries and as investors positioned for an expected announcement of bonds to absorb some of the excess cash in the money market, dealers said.

US Treasury yields posted their biggest one-day surge in three years on Thursday, and remained bearish in Asian trade on Friday on worries about Central Bank's jacking up rates worldwide.

The yield on the Indian 10-year bond was at 8.16 per cent, 5 basis points higher than Thursday's close, dealers added.

New Delhi, Jan 26 (ANI): Recently discovered bone inscriptions in a province in China have been analyzed to be approximately 1000 years older than those found in another area in the country, which indicates the new finding to be the oldest record of Chinese language.The Changle inscriptions were found in Weifang city of Shandong Province in China.According to Professor Liu Fengjun, doctoral supervisor in art and archaeology at Shandong University, the markings on Changle bones represent some kind.....
