Bomb thrown into IAS officers' house

Imphal, Jun 08 (UNI) A bomb was lobbed into the house of A.R.Khan, a senior IAS officer at Kshetri Bengoon Awang Leikai, Imphal East midnight last night.

Police here today reported that no one was injured in the blast since all were inside the house when the bomb was thrown.

Police enquiry into the incident was on.

Earlier unknown persons had also thrown a bomb towards the residence of Dr Y.Mohen, Superintendent of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal at Uripok, Imphal on Wednesday night.
