Two policemen suspended for beating up scribes

Jaipur, May 26: Two policemen were suspended today for beating up a reporter and photographer who had gone to collect information about an accident.

The policemen allegedly beat up the reporter and photographer of a vernacular newspaper last night, when they went to the spot to collect news about an accident near Saras Dairy under Malviya Nagar police station.

In protest, journalists today blocked one of the city's main thoroughfare Jawaharlal Nehru Marg.

Later, the mediamen were assured of a probe into the matter by additional SP Sanjay Kshetriya. Meanwhile, two of the policemen were suspended and Malviya Nagar police station incharge Rajendra Ohja was put on call.

Jaipur, May 21: A German woman has alleged molestation by a bus conductor and driver at Pushkar in Ajmer district. The complaint by German woman Alexandra (43), registered at Pushkar police station last night, stated that she was molested by the driver and conductor of the bus. She alleged that all passengers, except herself, alighted at Pushkar and the duo took the bus to a petrol pump and molested her. The incident took.....

Raj: 16 families return into Khalsa Panth

Sriganganagar, May 21: Amid row over the activities of Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, as many as 16 families of nearby 3-H Chhoti village, followers of the Dera mission, have returned into the Khalsa Panth.
