UP: Three serial blasts rock Gorakhpur

Lucknow, May 22: Panic gripped Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh, following three blasts in quick succession this evening.

Police said twelve people were seriously wounded in the blasts at a petrol pump, Baldev Plaza Market and York hotel.

Meanwhile, a large number of police personnel have rushed to the spot.

11 injured in train collision in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur, Jan 29: At least eleven people were injured when the Amritsar-Darbhanga Jan Nayak Express collided with a goods train at the Bodarwar Station on the Narkatiyaganj-Gorakhpur section early this morning. According to railway officials, the injured included an assistant driver and two other staffers of the 5211 Jan Nayak Express Train. They are undergoing treatment at a local hospital. Armed miscreants rob roadways bus

Ghazipur, Jan 12: Armed miscreants robbed a roadways bus conductor and passengers of several thousands of rupees in cash and valuables under Nandganj area of the district early today. Those robbed included a former MLC and ruling BSP leader Bachcha Yadav, Additional Police Superintendent M M Beg said.
