Tyagi becomes CMD of Pawan Hans

New Delhi, May 22: Mr R.K. Tyagi has taken over as chairman and managing director of Pawan Hans Helicopters Limited.

He was earlier general manager at ONGC's head air logistics division.

Mr Tyagi holds a bachelor of engineering degree (electronics and telecommunication) from Indian Institute of Technology at Roorkee and master of business administration degree with specialisation in marketing.

The government-owned Pawan Hans currently has a fleet of six Dauphin AS 365 N3 and 17 Dauphin SA 365N helicopters. With acquisition of two more Dauphin N3s from Eurocopter, the fleet strength will be enhanced to 35 helicopters.

India to leave Indo-Myanmar gas pipeline project

Agartala, May 14: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has decided to leave Indo-Myanmar gas pipeline project following Chinese influence on military administration in Myanmar.
