Two drowned in well

Kolhapur, May 22 (UNI) A 35-year-old woman and her minor daughter drowned in a well at Mudshingee here today.

The woman has been identified as Sangeeta Mohan Chavan and her four-year-old daughter Anuradha. The mother-daughter duo had gone to wash clothes at a nearby well, when the mishap occurred, police said.

Both were rushed to the civil hospital here, but declared dead on admission, they added.
