Syndicate Bank to issue more equity shares

Mumbai, May 22: Syndicate Bank today said it's Board of Directors have granted their approval for further raising of the bank's capital by way of issue of 8,00,00,000 equity shares having face value of Rs 10 each at a price to be determined later.

The decision is however, subject to necessary approvals from Government of India, Reserve Bank of India and other statutory bodies, Syndicate Bank clarified.

Syndicate Bank pays Rs 45.10 crore dividend

New Delhi, July 21: Syndicate Bank today presented a 13 per cent final dividend cheque of Rs 45.10 crore to the Government. Bank's Chairman and Managing Director C P Swarnkar presented the cheque to Finance Minister P Chidambaram. The bank had earlier paid an interim dividend of 15 per cent amounting Rs 52.04 crore. With this the total dividend paid to the government for the full year 2006-07 is 28 per cent at Rs.....

Syndicate Bank launches sale of gold coins

Bangalore, July 6: Syndicate Bank today launched the sale of gold coins under the brand name 'SYNDSONA' through 104 select branches of the bank, spread across eight States. The coins were available in four gm, eight gm and ten gm, in a tamper-proof card with 999.9 purity, a bank release here said.
