Railways augments six trains to accommodate summer rush

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) To accommodate the growing number of passengers during summers, the railways will augment six trains, including New Delhi-Ahmedabad-New Delhi Rajdhani Express.

The Northern Railways spokesperson said the 2957/2958 New Delhi- Ahmedabad-New Delhi Rajdhani Express train has been augmented by one additional AC 3 tier coach with immediate effect to run up to July 25 from Ahmedabad and up till July 26 from New Delhi.

The 2917/2918 Ahmedabad-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express train has been augmented by an additional second class sleeper coach with immediate effect to run up to July 25 from Ahmedabad and up till July 28 from Hazrat Nizammudin.

The 9163/9164 Ahmedabad-Faizabad Sabarmati Express train has been augmented by one additional second class sleeper coach with immediate effect to run up to July 23 from Ahmedabad and up till July 26 from Faizabad.

The 9165/9164 Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Sabarmati Express train has been augmented by one additional second class sleeper coach with immediate effect to run up to July 25 from Ahmedabad and up till July 26 from Darbhanga.

The 9167/9168 Ahmedabad-Varanasi Sabarmati Express train has been augmented by one additional second class sleeper coach with immediate effect to run up to July 24 from Ahmedabad and up till July 27 from Varanasi.

The 3005/3006 Howrah-Amritsar Mail has been augmented by one additional AC 3 tier coach with immediate effect on permanent basis from both the directions.
