Kolkata, May 22 (UNI) Heavy rain along with stormy weather brought relief after heat wave-like conditions forced people to remain indoors throughout the day.
The Met department said the maximum temperature toda was 35.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 23 degrees Celsius.
The maximum relative humidity was recorded at 93 per cent.
The Met sources further predicted a partly cloudy sky with thunder showers throughout the night.
