Mumbai, May 22: Hasina Parkar, sister of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, is likely to move court for anticipatory bail.
Adv Shyam Keshwani, representing Hasina Parkar, told acting Principal Judge N D Deshpande that his client wishes to appear before the court to file an anticipatory bail application.
Earlier in the day, Adv Keshwani had also approached MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) court Judge M R Bhatkar for the same. But, Judge Bhatkar had pointed out that the acting charge is with Judge Deshpande and he should be approached for the purpose.
Hasina Parkar's name figures in the First Information Report (FIR) filed by the Anti Extortion Cell with respect to a Slums Rehabilitation Authority scheme dispute.
