Bukhari detained while trying to march to PMO

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) Jama Masjid Shahi Imam Ahmad Bukhari was detained this afternoon while trying to lead a 'march' to the Prime Minister office to lodge his protest against 'not being heard' on the Hyderabad Mecca masjid blasts issue.

Imam was detained in Daryaganj minutes after he proceeded for the 'march', said sources.

He was prevented from leading the 'march' and asked to maintain peace, sources added.

A few days ago Imam Bukhari had written to the Prime Minister to give him an audience over the Mecca mosque blasts in Hyderabad on May 18 and had threatened to lead a 'rally' to the PMO if he was not heard.

Detained Indian nationals in Malaysia to return home this week

Kuala Lumpur, Mar 2 (ANI): Malaysia's Director-General for Immigration, Mahmood Adam, has said that the 43 Indian nationals detained here would return home this week."Forty-three nationals, who have been languishing in an Immigration detention depot for nearly two months, will be sent in batches between Thursday and Saturday," NST Online quoted Adam as saying.Their employer had purchased flights tickets for them and they will be sent through Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang, Adam added.He further said.....
