Boy breaks Limca Book's record, plays guitar for over 40 hrs

Agra, May 22 (UNI) A thirteen-year-old boy entered his name in the Limca Book of Records after playing the guitar for over 40 hours in the Taj city today.

The event was organised in the auditorium of Holy Public School, where St Peter's class 8th student Akash Gupta broke the record of playing the guitor continuously for 40 hours.

He started playing the instrument at the auditorium on Sunday at 1216 hrs. His efforts were boosted by students of the Holy Public School and representatives of different cultural events.

Marketing manager of Limca Book of Records V V R Murti told UNI that Akash wished to break the 44 hrs guitar playing record of Guiness Book, but his age posed a problem.

Akash's mother appreciated him saying he not only efficiently plays the instrument but is also a good student and swimmer.
