Birla Corporation to announce annual results on May 30

Mumbai, May 22 (UNI) Birla Corporation Ltd will announce its annual results on May 30.

At the board meeting, the members will decide on dividend to shareholders, company informed Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today.

The company had registered a net turnover of Rs 143.34 crore in the year 2005-06 as compared to Rs 134.264 in 2004-05.

Birla Corporation Limited, which is the flagship company of M P Birla Group, was incorporated in 1919 as Birla Jute Manufacturing Company Limited.

The company has a production capcity of 5.7 million tonnes in cement segment, 48.10 lakh square meters in PVC goods and 3,750 tonnes in Iron and steel castings segment.
