Asian Beach Volleyball in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 22 (UNI) The Asian Circuit Beach Volleyball championship will be held on the bank of the Hussain Sagar Lake here from July 4 to 7.

According to the organisers about 32 teams, including teams from 16 foriegn countries have confirmed participation so far. India is fielding four men's teams and two women's teams in this tournament.

The budget for this event is around Rupees 1.48 crore and the total prize money is 25,000 US Dollors.

The winners and runners in both the sections will get 3,000 US Dollors and 2,500 US Dollors respectively.

Sydney: The rhythmic beat of the Brazilian samba was finally drowned out by the Star Spangled Banner on Tuesday as the United States won the Olympic men's beach volleyball tournament. Dain Blanton and Eric Fonoimoana upset Brazil's Ze Marco and Ricardo Santos to win gold in the final at Bondi Beach. The two Americans only secured their place for the Sydney games a month ago by finishing third in a qualifying tournament in Belgium.But they took away the gold.....

Washington, Feb 3 (ANI): A beach vacation may turn out to be hazardous for your kids, for a new study has found that sunny holidays can make children vulnerable to future skin cancer risk.The study, led by Lori Crane, Ph.D., M.P.H., chair of the Department of Community and Behavioral Health at the Colorado School of Public Health, found that vacationing at the shore led to a 5 percent increase in nevi (more commonly called "moles") among 7-year-old children.Number.....
