Virbhadra Singh calls Dhumal ''reluctant'' candidate

Shimla, May 15 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh called BJP leader P K Dhumal a ''reluctant candidate'' for Hamirpur by-election.

Addressing poll ralies here, Mr Singh accused Mr Dhumal of ''showing lack of interest in this election and turning down the offer earlier in front of BJP high command''.

He also said the BJP candidate had lost moral right to contest the seat because he never criticised the former MP of his party, Suresh Chandel, for his involvement in ''cash for query'' scam.

Mr Singh, addressed a number of election rallies held at Chulhri, Mandli, Thana Kalana, Talmehra, Ambehra and Solhari in Kutlehar Assembly segment of district Una compaigning for Congress candidate Ram Lal Thakur.

India wants to crush PoK: Lashkar chief Saeed

Muzaffarabad, Dec.8 (ANI): The chief of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, the political wing of the banned militant organization, Lashkar-e-Toiba, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has accused India of wanting to destroy Pakistan-controlled Kashmir.Saeed told Geo News that the ongoing operation in Pakistan Kashmir was under Indian pressure, and this was unwarranted.Saeed further said that the targeting of Kashmiri organizations without any proof was an expression of weakness.Earlier, wanted Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) commander, Zakiur Rehman Lakhwi was reportedly arrested by Pakistani army personnel.....
