The global CIM applications market was expected to reach US dollar 2.6 billion by 2008, more than doubling the approximately US dollar 1.2 billion applications market today, the release said, adding India was the ninth largest retail market in the world and the launch of these CIM solutions in the country was in line with the boom in the Indian retail sector.
