Reshien and Rajeshwari enter Quarterfinals

Bangalore, May 15 (UNI) Maintaining his tempo top seed Reshien Samuel of Karnataka entered Quarterfinals in Boys section defeating his statemate K Sachin 7-5, 6-2 in the Laabh Jewellers AITA Ranking Championship tournament for U-16 Boys and Girls played at Sadashivnagar Club here today.

In the Girl's Section, unseeded Preethi Ujjani of Karnataka shocked her eighth seeded statemate L S Archana 6-0, 6-0, even as top seed C Rajeshwari of Tamil Nadu stormed into last eight stage in Girls section defeating Vidya Bharath of Karnataka in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.

Second seed Sharan Patil, third seed Vinod Gowda, fourth seed Vishwanath Sawadi (all from Karnataka) and eighth seed R Vigneshwaran of Tamil Nadu also entered the quarterfinals in Boys section. In Girl's section second seed M P Nitha, fourth seed Ravina Shetty of Karnataka, fifth seed Sanjan M Kumar of Tamil Nadu, sixth seed U M Shalaka of Karnataka also made it to the quarterfinals.
