Pune, May 15 (UNI) Heavy rains or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Rains or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, at many places in Gangetic West Bengal, at a few places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Orissa.
They are also likely to occur at isolated places in Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Dry weather will prevail over Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalseema, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
Heat wave conditions prevailed in some parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. They also prevailed at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, northwest Rajasthan and Vidarbha. Hot day conditions also prevailed at isolated places in Haryana.
Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of coastal Karnataka, in remaining parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. They were above normal in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Vidarbha, south Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalseema and interior Karnataka.
The temperatures were markedly below normal in parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. They were appreciably below normal in parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttaranchal.
The were below normal in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Gujrat region and north Madhya Maharashtra. They were normal over the rest of the country.
