Two youth killed

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, May 14 (UNI) Two youth were killed on the spot and four others received minor injuries, when a portion of mud caved in at Cherukumilli village in Gopalapuram mandal of West Godavari district today.

According to police the youth, Yeluri Venkata Rao (20) and Parimi Abhinash (16) along with some other agricultural labourers went to the Polavaram right canal this afternoon to collect mud. When they were engaged in digging the canal bund, suddenly, some mud caved in on them.

A case has been registered and investigation was underway, police added.

Nashik, Dec 1: Two youths were killed in an accident near Bytco college on the Nashik-Pune highway. According to police, the two deceased identified as Sagar Damodar Kadam (17) and Bhushan Shahir (18) resident of Motwani road of Nashik road suburb in the city were on their way by motor-cycle to Nashik on Nov 30, when the accident took place. The two in an attempt to overtake a truck against a milk tanker came under the wheels of the same speeding milk.....

TN: Lovers commit suicide

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 13: A 25-year-old construction worker and his lover allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train at Manjampatti village, near here, today. Police identified the victims as S Welwin Raj of Karattupatti village and M Revathi (20). They took the extreme step as their parents objected to the affair.
