Bangalore, May 14 (UNI) Trainer S Dominic was fined Rs 10,000 by the Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC), for his 'negligence' in accepting his charge 'King of Queens' (T K Jackman up) to run in the Royal Command Plate, subsequently the horse was withdrawn in the race held on May 11.
Apprentice Jockey V Sunil Kumar, the rider of 'Lady One' in Usha Stud Plate, was fined Rs 5,000 for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.
In the Krishnaraja Wadiyar Cup, apprentice jockey A Ashok Kumar, the rider of 'Tribal Fantasy' was fined Rs 5,000 for not presenting himself to weigh in after the race when his mount was placed fourth by the judge. After deliberations, the stewards decided to disqualify the horse of Tribal Fantasy from the above race, the BTC release said here today.
