Sonata launches enhanced suite of SonnetBI

Bangalore, May 14 (UNI) Sonata Software, a Global Systems Integrator and Solution Provider on Microsoft products, today announced the launch of its enhanced suite -- SonnetBI.

The functional analysers had adaptable and easy to use features of the Microsoft Office Performance Point Server 2007 and Office 2007.

SonnetBI provide centralised data management, specialised analysis, tight data integration and multilevel sophisticated visualisations to empower decision makers across business functions and all levels in the organisation with comprehensive and accurate views of business processes and resources, according to a release here.

The enhanced SonnetBI suite provides sophisticated reporting and analytical services through persona-based scorecards and dashboards that provide information access to relevant managers and employees, and show how processes align with KPIs and objectives.

Microsoft Office Business Applications General Manager Chris Caren said that partners like Sonata, who had expertise across the Microsoft BI technologies, amplify the power of Microsoft platform by providing value added solutions to enterprise business users worldwide.

Wireless systems to rapidly transmit high-definition films come closer to reality

Washington, January 25 (ANI): Georgia Institute of Technology researchers have reached a step closer to realising rapid transfer of a high-definition movie from a PC to a cell phone, along with a host of other media and data possibilities, for they have produced a CMOS chip capable of transmitting 60 GHz digital RF signals.Experts at the Institute's Georgia Electronic Design Center (GEDC) say that this chip design could speed-up commercialisation of high-speed, short-range wireless applications, thanks to the low cost.....
